My name is John Cole Burnett and I’m a guitarist, singer-songwriter. I also play drums, bass and percussion in the studio. I consider myself a slightly experimental musician. Music is present in my life since childhood, but I started my first band in high school. I was in love with a beautiful girl and I wrote a song to her, and I needed a way to perform it for her. A school event was just what I needed to do it, and I did.
Of course, as we’ve done more playing together, I’ve quickly found out that I’m not doing it for dating purposes or whatever, but the love of music, instruments and creating original material. Nothing in the world is more satisfying to me than the processes of writing a song, rehearsing it and then performing it, live to an audience.

I would describe my music as classic R’n’B and funk-infused rock. The bulk of my fans are from the US, but I do have some fans from all over the world.
In recent years I was spending my time refining my abilities as a musician. As of late 2013, I’m working on my debut single and album. After living on the Canary Islands for a while, writing new stuff and getting inspired by the scenery, I’m back to my grandfather’s farm in Slovakia, where I’m recording in my home studio using vintage, custom-made as well as digital equipment. Trying to keep things simple and on the budget, while trying to achieve my goal for now, which is producing a group of good songs.
